Zebraman 2 Limited Edition Blu-Ray

Show Aikawa returns as the superhero like no other in the idiosyncratic director Takashi Miike (Audition, One Missed Call) and screenwriter Kankuro Kudo's (Go, Ping Pong) subversive and darkly satirical sequel to their 2004 homage to the golden age of Japanese tokusatsu TV series. The year is 2025, and our hero Shinichi wakes up with no memory, zebra pants, and zebra shoes in an authoritarian dystopian future. Tokyo has been taken over by an evil, ultra-right-wing governor named Kozo, who has reconstructed and renamed the capital Zebra City and introduced a five-minute purge twice a day, called Zebra Time, during which all crimes are legal and his Zebra Police eagerly throw themselves into the free-for-all that ensues. It is a society dominated by screens, and the screens are dominated by a sensual pop diva named Zebra Queen, who happens to be Kozo's daughter. Can Shinichi regain his Zebraman powers to prevent Kozo and Zebra Queen's plans to export their dark vision across the world?
