Strange things happen in Britt's apartment: on a stage, naked women and men wearing white makeup act out erotic fairy tales that Britt's absent sister has fantasized up. The ambitiousYoung Playthings was the subject of a long and in-depth essay in the groundbreaking book Re/Search: Incredibly Strange Films. The film was considered lost for many years, until Klubb Super 8 found an almost complete 16mm working copy, as well as lots of unused footage in Joe Sarnos' basement in Hägersten. About 10 minutes of the film were missing, but these have been lifted from a VHS recording from the Playboy Channel in the 1980s, refreshed, and incorporated into the film in a few places.

Apart from Christina Lindberg, the other actors were amateurs. It deserves a much wider cult following than it has received. Seriously, this will appeal to both intellectual film buffs and grindhouse addicts."
