The adventure begins when the kind Sioux boy sets out to find Little Love, a record-breaking wild horse that everyone claims is untamable. During his search through the magnificent landscapes, Yakari gets lost, but is rescued by the Great Eagle, who gives him an amazing gift. Suddenly, Yakari can talk to all animals!

The comic book character Yakari was created in 1969 by Swiss authors André Jobin (script) and Claude de Ribaupierre (illustrations). The albums about him have been translated into seventeen different languages, including Swedish, and have sold a total of five million copies!
