Lazenby portrays Franco Serpieri, a sculptor who has recently separated from his wife (Anita Strindberg). Consumed by grief and driven by a thirst for justice, a grieving Franco begins his own investigation and uncovers evil corruption in the highest echelons of Venetian societycontrolled by the Machiavellian art dealer Adolfo Celi (Largo in 007's The Spy Who Loved Me).

Lado's WHO SAW HER DIE? bears striking and eerie similarities to Nicolas Roeg's later film Don't Look Now and deals with a father's haunting feelings of guilt in a spellbinding giallo mystery.
