His name is Ennio, but he is better known as "The Video Man"—a film director who lives in the past surrounded by thousands of video cassettes. His big dream is to reopen his video store, which he plans to finance by selling his most valuable possession—a rare edition of Lucio Fulci's "Zombie." But the film is stolen, and during his desperate search, he meets Simone, a downtrodden woman who is just as devastated by her broken dreams as he is. Soon, an unusual romance blossoms between the couple, while Ennio's life begins to resemble a gruesome Italian horror film!

Stefan Sauk, Lena Nilsson, and a host of Swedish stars come together in this crazy but also heartfelt tribute to the VHS era and to all those who are considered a little odd in our society. After its Swedish cinema premiere, the film has become a favorite at horror festivals, and the music video for the film featuring 1980s pop princess Samantha Fox has received hundreds of thousands of clicks on YouTube.
