Under The Shadow Blu-Ray

In Tehran in 1988, Shideh's attempt to enter medical school is blocked because of her politically active background. Her husband is sent away to serve in the Iran-Iraq War, while Iraqi air raids come dangerously close to their apartment. When neighbors and friends flee a city in chaos, she is left alone with her daughter Dorsa, who is becoming increasingly ill and seemingly disturbed. Shideh initially dismisses her outbursts of rage over a lost doll, but soon becomes terrified that they have become the target of a djinn — a malevolent spirit that steals from those it seeks to possess.
