Blake Lively stars in this thriller directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. When experienced surfer Nancy Adams (Lively) visits a quiet beach that her late mother once loved, she takes a dip in the ocean to remember her parent. When she breaks all the surfing rules and ventures out into the waves alone, the peaceful tranquility of the water around her quickly changes when she is attacked by a hungry great white shark. As she desperately tries to swim away, she manages to climb onto a large rock just 200 meters from the beach, but she soon realizes that she is in the middle of the shark's hunting grounds and cannot move from the rock without risking her life. Will she be able to distract the shark and swim back to shore?
