The Rape Of The Vampire Limited Edition 4K Ultra HD
In the first part of the film, four strange women living in a dilapidated castle—all of whom believe they are ancient vampires — are visited by a psychoanalyst who tries to make them forget their obvious delusions. In the second case, the queen of vampires runs a diabolical clinic, unaware that the doctor is conspiring against her. With its surreal black-and-white images and captivating free jazz music by Françoisois Tusques, The Rape of the Vampire premiered in Paris to scandalous reactions amid the chaos of May 1968, heralding the arrival of a new major talent in fantasy film. This new edition also includes Rollin's 1965 short film, The Far Countries (Les Pays loin), restored in 4K."
