The Mexico Trilogy - El Mariachi / Desperado / Once Upon A Time In Mexico Limited Edition 4K Ultra HD bluray

Sale price789 kr

EL MARIACHI: All he wants is to become a Mariachi, just like his father, his grandfather, and his great-grandfather before him. But the city he believes will bring him luck only brings him a curse in the form of a deadly identity swap. Forced to trade his guitar for a gun, the mariachi plays for his life in Robert Rodriguez's critically acclaimed debut film. The surprising adventure film, which was financed with money from a month-long stay at a research hospital, was shot without retakes, with borrowed equipment, and a cast consisting solely of unknown talents. The captivating result is a wild, action-packed journey through a world of banditry, from the thrilling opening firefight to the tragedy of the unexpected ending. With little more than a good story and a big heart, Rodriguez has created pure cinematic joy and set new standards for independent filmmaking, while establishing himself as an indisputable talent.

DESPERADO: Antonio Banderas, Joaquim De Almeida, Salma Hayek, Steve Buscemi, Cheech Marin, and Quentin Tarantino star in this stylish shoot-'em-up film described as a Mexican Pulp Fiction. Director Robert Rodriguez follows up his legendary debut film, El Mariachi, with this sexy film about a mysterious guitar player (Banderas) who wants revenge on the men who murdered his girlfriend.

ONCE UPON A TIME IN MEXICO Drug lord Barrillo pretends to overthrow the Mexican government. At the same time, corrupt CIA agent Sands seeks revenge on his worst enemy in order to carry out the drug lord's rebellion against the state. Sands enlists the help of Mariachi. At the same time, the drug lord is plotting to have the president assassinated.
