The Man In The White Suit Limited Collectors Edition 4K Ultra HD + Blu-Ray (UK-import)
Ealing Studios' productions from the 1940s and 1950s helped define what can be said to be the golden age of British cinema. They nurtured great directors such as Alexander Mackendrick and Robert Hamer, while giving stars such as Alec Guinness and Peter Sellers the chance to shine.
Sidney Stratton (Alec Guinness), a humble inventor, develops a fabric that never gets dirty or wears out. This could be seen as a blessing for humanity, but the established clothing manufacturers do not see it that way; they try to suppress the invention. Sidney, however, is determined to launch his invention on the market, forcing the clothing factory bosses to resort to more desperate measures.
