When her father passes away, Nyla, who is in her twenties, is tasked with doing what she hates most—cleaning up after him. What remains is a collection of VHS tapes, and with them the burden of returning them to "Blaster Video," a time capsule to an era when covers and captivating movie titles were king, run by Kevin, a human encyclopedia of VHS history and a friend of her father's. Among the returns is an unknown tape, a film that even Kevin has never heard of. Was this the last film Nyla's father saw before he died? The mystery is too great to resist. But when Kevin and Nyla press play, they unwittingly activate a curse that has been dormant for a long time, and a series of classic movie villains are brought out of B-movie heaven and hell to be unleashed in the store itself!
