The Last House On The Left Limited Edition Blu-Ray
The Last House on the Left is a vicious and effective update of the controversial 1972 graphic horror film of the same name, produced by the original director/producer duo Wes Craven and Sean Cunningham.
When athletic teenager Mari Collingwood (Sara Paxton) chooses to hang out with her friend Paige in town instead of spending an evening with her parentson vacation at the family's remote lake house, it marks the beginning of a night no one will ever forget. The two girls end up in the company of escaped convict Krug (Garret Dillahunt) and his makeshift family of despicable career criminals, who kidnap and brutally assault them before leaving them for dead. When the villains flee the scene of the crime during a storm, they inadvertently seek shelter with Mari's parents, who are worried about whytheir daughter has not come home and are prepared to unleash the forces of hell on anyone who dares to touch a hair on her head.
This remake of the groundbreaking horror film about bloody revenge was directed by Dennis Iliadis from a new screenplay by Carl Ellsworth (Red Eye, Disturbia) and has been described by Stephen King as "the best horror film of the new century."
