The third and final part of his "Gates of Hell" trilogy, The House by the Cemetery from 1981, showcases the evil maestro at his best in his blood-soaked form.

The Boyles family—Lucy (Catriona MacColl, The Beyond), Norman (Paolo Malco, The New York Ripper), and their young son Bob (Giovanni Frezza, Demons)—move from New York City to an aging house in rural New England. But the evil force lurking in the basement of the house has already killed the previous tenant and now has its sights set on the new owners.
