The Exterminator - Unrated director's cut bluray
THE WINNER IN SWEDISH VIDEO STORES IN THE 1980S WITH THREE MONTHS AT NO. 1 ON THE THE TOP LIST!
During the heyday of video, it was mainly two action films that stood out in Sweden – The Octagon with Chuck Norris and The Exterminator directed by James Glickenhaus. What they had in common was that they were much more violent than what we were used to, were banned from being shown in cinemas, and were hugely successful on video. Robert Ginty plays Vietnam veteran John Eastland. After his closest friend from the war is so badly beaten that he is paralyzed for life, John sets out to kill the gang responsible. He then sets his sights on all the other scum in town—armed with machine guns, flamethrowers, and meat grinders...
THE EXTERMINATOR is now being released for the very first time on Blu-ray in Sweden, complete with the infamous and incredibly realistic decapitation scene, created by makeup genius Stan Winston (four-time Oscar winner for films such as Aliens and T2).
