Symphony For A Massacre Blu-Ray
Five gangsters collect money to buy a large shipment of drugs that they plan to resell. However, one of the gang members secretly plans to rob his partners, which starts a spiral of violence and deception that leaves a trail of corpses across France. Symphony for a Massacre is a devilishly clever film with a convoluted script by José Giovanni (Le trou) and Claude Sautet (Classe tous risques), based on a novel by Reynaud-Fourton, and directed with real energy and verve by the French master of mystery thrillers, Jacques Deray (La piscine). Supported by a unique ensemble of France's best character actors and Claude Renoir's (La grande illusion) fantastic photography, this is a French crime film of the highest quality.
