Stray Dog Limited Edition Blu-Ray
Director Akira Kurosawa
A masterful blend of film noir and police thriller set in the sultry streets of occupied Tokyo.
When newly appointed detective Murakami (Toshiro Mifune) has his gun stolen from his pocket on a bus, his desperate search for the thief leads him to an illegal arms market in Tokyo's underworld. But the gun has already passed from the pickpocket to a young gangster, and Murakami's gun is identified as the weapon used in the shooting of a woman.
Murakami, overwhelmed by anxiety, turns to his older and more experienced colleague, Sato (a fantastic performance by Takashi Shimura), for help. The race is on to find the shooter before he can strike again...
