Sil (Henstridge) is a creation of alien DNA that has been fused with human DNA. She grows and develops incredibly quickly into a creature that can kill everything in its path with only one thing in mind: to reproduce and continue to exterminate all of humanity. Visually stunning with a deliberate nod to classic B movies from the 1950s, this big-budget fantasy film manages to balance gruesome effects with the film's most beautiful monsters.
