Spawn Of The North Limited Edition Blu-Ray
From director Henry Hathaway (Peter Ibbetson) comes Spawn of the North, a thrilling adventure starring George Raft (You and Me), Henry Fonda (Madigan), and Dorothy Lamour (Road to Morocco).
Jim (Fonda), a salmon fisherman in Alaska, reunites with his friend Tyler (Raft). When a distraught Jim discovers that Tyler has joined the gang of poachers who are stealing his fish, he enlists the help of Tyler's lover, Nicky (Lamour), to help him defeat the thieves without jeopardizing his friend. With a screenplay by Jules Furthman (Shanghai Express) and Akim Tamiroff (Dangerous Knowledge) and John Barrymore (Twentieth Century) in the lead roles, Spawn of the North is a large-scale film production, with an expansive set in Alaska featuring a 375,000-gallon water tank, as well as extensive filming locations in Alaska's authentic salmon rivers.
