Space 1999 - Super Space Theater (4 Films) Limited Edition Blu-Ray

ITC capitalized on the success of the first two Space:1999 films (episodes edited together into theatrical films in the wake of Star Wars) and created what would become the first Space:1999 films. first Space:1999 films (episodes edited together into theatrical films in the wake of Star Wars) and created what would become thirteen feature films for cable TV and home video under the name Super Space Theater. Four of these were made from episodes of Space:1999, but they contain new music in some places and (in the case of Alien Attack) additional scenes.

Each of these four films has been rebuilt from the high-resolution restorations created for the series episodes - they are presented here in their original 4:3 full-screen format along with new 16:9 widescreen special editions, with both Alien Attack and Destination Moonbase-Alpha featuring enhanced special effects. All four special editions have been re-edited, which means that scenes have been restored and material has been added that was not included in the original version.

This set also includes a reconstruction of the Italian cinema film Spazio:1999 - which premiered several months before the TV broadcasts began and, with idiosyncratic music by the legendary Ennio Morricone, was the first time Space:1999 was shown anywhere in the world.
