101 Films presents the iconic slasher films The Slumber Party Massacre (1982) and Slumber Party Massacre II (1987) on 4K UHD and Blu-ray in the UK for the first time. The Slumber Party Massacre, which was intended as a parody of slasher films, ended up being shot as a pure horror film, resulting in some unique dark humor, both intentional and unintentional. The more overtly comedic Slumber Party Massacre II was the first of several sequels in what was the first horror series written and directed exclusively by women, bringing a new perspective to a historically male-dominated genre. It will be the slumber party that ends all slumber parties. Trish (Michelle Michaels) has her parents away and plans a weekend of fun for her friends on the high school basketball team—a slumber party at her house. She's not sure if she wants to invite the new and talented Valerie (Robin Stille), but one person who's definitely coming is Russ Thorn. Thorn, who has been confined to a mental hospital since 1969, has escaped and is on his way back to town with the intention of causing more bloody chaos. No one will get much sleep tonight—there are potato chips, drinks, drugs, severed heads, blood, and gore galore.

Slumber Party Massacre II: Courtney (Crystal Bernard), the only healthy survivor of Slumber Party Massacre (1982), dreams that the drill killer will return. She can't shake the terrible feeling that she and her friends will be brutally stabbed and slaughtered. The nightmare recurs over and over again. No one believes her until it's too late. The drill killer returns, reincarnated as an evil rocker, methodically pursuing them one by one and violently dismembering them to death... Can anyone survive Slumber Party Massacre II?
