The Lord of the Rings trilogy has never looked better! The films were shot almost 20 years ago on 35mm film, which was then color-corrected in a more traditional way. Now, they have switched to digital color correction, as was done for The Hobbit films. Finally, it feels like all six films were shot at the same time.
