Resurrected Blu-Ray
Paul Greengrass (The Bourne Supremacy, United 93) makes his extraordinary feature film debut with this stirring and powerful true story about a British soldier (David Thewlis – Naked) who was injured and disappeared during the Falklands War in the 1980s. He is presumed dead and honored with full military honors, but when he returns, he is treated with suspicion and shame and accused of desertion.
With outstanding performances by Rita Tushingham (A Taste of Honey, Doctor Zhivago) and Tom Bell (The L-Shaped Room, The Krays), Resurrected is an intense and provocative drama, a powerful cry against institutional violence and political indifference.
