Wherever Ola and the Janglers go on their tour, they are met by packed venues with screaming teenage girls. They are often forced to flee from their lustful fans. Julia is also on tour, with a gloomy production of Beckett. Her audience is older and more serious. When Ola and Julia's paths cross, sparks immediately fly and they end up in the same bed. Ola and the Janglers was one of the biggest pop bands of the 1960s. The band included "Clabbe" af Geijerstam, who composed 13 new songs for the film. The screenplay was written by Jan Halldoff together with Bengt Forslund (Oscar nominee for The Emigrants) and Stig "Slas" Claesson.
