The first film, "Soldat Bom," was a huge success and was shown for 48 weeks in Stockholm cinemas. Seven Bom films were made, and among the most successful were "Pappa Bom" (Dad Bom) from 1949 and "Tull-Bom" (Customs Bom) from 1951.
