Mortuary Blu-Ray

This twisted tale from director Howard Avedis is a first-rate slasher that came at the end of the stalk n' slash wave and added a touch of giallo and devil worship to the mix. Christie (Mary Beth McDonough) is convinced that her father's death was not an accident and sets out to discover the truth. Her trail of clues leads her to the local morgue, where she discovers horrors beyond her imagination. The film is probably best known for starring Bill Paxton as an embalmer (the film is also known as Embalmed) who is something of a social misfit with an unhealthy, lifelong infatuation with Christie. Mortuary contains plenty of juicy scenes and bloodshed for fans of the genre to enjoy. Subtitles: English
