Now Lena's life is also in danger. Who is the murderer? Can he be stopped in time?
Heinz Hopf plays the homosexual drug addict and train passenger Gregor, who is also the film's narrator.
The screenplay was written by Arne Mattsson, together with the authors of the Beck novels, Maj Sjöwall and Per Wahlöö. The film is based on real events. There were rumors of a train killer in Sweden in the 1950s and 1960s. Many passengers had mysteriously fallen out of the train doors. It is likely that the door design at the time contributed to most of these accidents.
"The Killer is a thoroughly emotionless and highly distasteful film."
Stig Björkman, Chaplin
"If Mattsson wanted to dive into deep waters, he has landed in a sink."
