Messiah Of Evil Blu-Ray
A woman arrives in a sleepy coastal town after receiving disturbing letters from her father, only to discover that the town is under the influence of a strange cult that cries blood and craves human flesh. Willard Huyck and Gloria Katz, the writers of American Graffiti, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and Howard the Duck, have created this dreamlike and atmospheric film that transports the zombie movie after Night of the Living Dead to a surreal American small-town setting, presented with wonderful Techniscope images reminiscent of Mario Bava's and Hammer's elegant European horror films. Messiah of Evil, also released as Dead People, is a true cult film and has overcome distribution challenges to enjoy growing awareness and high acclaim after decades of word-of-mouth enthusiasm among horror film fans and critics around the world.
