Martin - Digitalt restaurerad bluray
A FILM BY THE MASTER OF HORROR BEHIND NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD
BONUS FILM: THE AMUSEMENT PARK
SPECIAL EDITION
DIGITALLY RESTORED
Young Martin is not like other teenagers. Martin believes he is an 84-year-old vampire who needs to drink blood to survive! As more and more women in Pittsburgh fall victim to his bloodlust, Martin's older cousin begins to suspect something is wrong. He becomes increasingly convinced that Martin is indeed a vampire. But is that really the case? Or is Martin actually a deeply disturbed young man with a dangerous sexual fixation, as deadly as his victims?
Martin is a somewhat forgotten film in George A. Romero's filmography, but it is highly regarded by horror fans. It was also Romero's personal favorite among all his films. Martin is a thriller that bites much deeper than other films in the genre and raises questions about identity, alienation, mental illness, and violence against women. The film marked Romero's first collaboration with makeup genius Tom Savini (Friday the 13th, Maniac, The Burning), who also has a role in the film. The same can be said of Romero.
