One morning, the residents of a high-rise building discover that the building is surrounded by impenetrable darkness. Windows and doors are blocked, and the opaque black fog prevents any escape routes. Attempts to get through it end in death. To ensure their survival in this hopeless situation, the tenants organize themselves into groups— but when food begins to run out, they give in to their most primitive instincts, until the only thing that matters in the entire building is the right of the strongest.
