Lille Fridolfs farliga ålder DVD
Selma is turning sixty and Fridolf wants to give her a nice necklace. The sales assistant asks Fridolf to measure Selma's neck so they can get the right length for the necklace. One evening, while Selma is asleep, Fridolf tries to measure her neck with his hands. She wakes up screaming, fearing the worst.
The film was the fourth and last in the series based on Rune Moberg's popular radio series. With the death of Douglas Håges in 1959, further Fridolf films were out of the question. Both the radio series and the films relied on the actor's gravitas and joviality. "Everything is just as simple and harmless as it usually is."
Svenska Dagbladet
"There are films that work through violence. Others rely on sex. Little Fridolf speculates on simplicity."
