Jack - Digitalt restaurerad bluray
When Ulf Lundell's novel JACK was released in April 1976, it caused an unprecedented rush to bookstores. Hailed as "the great generational novel of the 1970s," it became the talk of the town, a must-read for EVERYONE, and the print run quickly rose from the original 2,000 copies to an incredible 200,000 copies. The film adaptation, with a screenplay by Lundell and director Jan Halldoff, came out the following year and was an even greater success. Goran Stangertz plays Jack Rästedt, who parties, drinks, has sex, and smokes weed with his friends Bart, Harald, Jonny, and Linnéa as if there were no tomorrow. But dawn will come. Whether they like it or not. Dark and grim for some, hopeful for others. It is a great honor for Studio S to release this film by the author and our country's foremost rock musician, Ulf Lundell. For the very first time, it is being released on Blu-ray, digitally restored to a quality befitting one of the best Swedish films of the 1970s.
