British artist and filmmaker Ben Rivers is internationally renowned for creating a series of bold experimental documentaries that seek to escape modern society. Rivers films in various formats and qualities, often using an old Bolex film camera, and edits the films himself, giving the impression of found, aged, or archived footage.

Rivers' films break with the conventional rules of documentary filmmaking and are atmospheric and sensory, representing a completely unique personal vision.
