When his wife suddenly falls ill, the struggling father (Michele Morrone) buys an AI (Megan Fox) to help run the household. But the situation soon becomes life-threatening when the lifelike robot develops an obsessive bond with its new owner. Driven by a twisted sense of loyalty, she becomes determined to eliminate what she perceives as the real threat to his happiness: his family.
