Samehada (Tadanobu Asano) has stolen money from the syndicate and is on the run; Toshiko (Shie Kohinata) is also on the run from a scary manager named Sonezaki (Yohachi Shimida) from Hotel Symphony where she works, who is obsessed with controlling her. They are brought together in a car accident and find themselves on the run from the syndicate, Sonezaki, and Yamada (Tatsuya Gashuin), a shy hotel employee who happens to be a contract killer.
