In a dark dystopian future, a lonely worker suffers a breakdown after being interrogated about crimes he has no memory of committing. Is he a real human being or a clone created by scientists in an attempt to create a new, more submissive race of humans?

Piotr Szulkin's Kafkaesque science fictionallegory is a dark satire on the Polish People's Republic in the late 1970s and is a precursor to Blade Runner, bringing to mind the disturbing apocalyptic landscape of Andrei Tarkovsky's Stalker. Its portrayal of irresponsible science, fake news, and unbridled AI makes it even more prescient today.

This edition also includes the Blu-ray world premieres of a selection of Piotr Szulkin's early short films.
