Hank Thompson (Austin Butler) was a high school baseball phenomenon who can no longer play, but everything else is going well. He has a fantastic girlfriend (Zoë Kravitz), works as a bartender at a bar in New York, and his favorite team is fighting as the underdog for the championship. When his punk rock neighbor Russ (Matt Smith) asks him to take care of his cat for a few days, Hank suddenly finds himself in the middle of a motley crew of menacing gangsters.
