One evening, Adam (Andrew Scott) happens to bump into his mysterious neighbor Harry (Paul Mescal) in their nearly empty apartment building in London, where a relationship begins to blossom. At the same time, Adam is immersed in memories of the past and is drawn back to the suburb where he grew up and the childhood home where his parents, (played by Jamie Bell and Claire Foy) seem to live on, just as they did on the day they died—30 years earlier.
