A Scanner Darkly Blu-Ray

Richard Linklater writes and directs this American thriller based on the novel by Philip K. Dick. The war on drugs has been lost, and when a reluctant undercover cop is ordered to spy on his closest friends, it's hard to understand how the mission is affecting his mental health. Bob Arctor (Keanu Reeves) is a narcotics cop who is ordered to spy on his friends and report back to headquarters. But besides being a cop, Arctor is also an addict. His favorite drug is the ubiquitous street drug Substance D, a drug known for causing bizarre hallucinations and personality splits in its users. The cast also includes Robert Downey Jr., Woody Harrelson, and Winona Ryder.
