In a remote mountain tribe, young hunter D'Leh (Steven Strait, The Covenant) has found his heart's passion—the beautiful Evolet (Camilla Bell, When A Stranger Calls). But when a band of mysterious warlords raids his village and kidnaps Evolet, D'Leh must lead a small group of hunters to the ends of the earth to rescue her. As they venture into unknown lands, the group discovers that there are civilizations beyond their own and that the scope of humanity is much greater than they ever imagined. With each new encounter, D'Leh begins to build his small group into an army. Driven by fate, these unlikely warriors must battle prehistoric predators while braving the harshest elements.
