The Day The Earth Stood Still (Original) Blu-Ray

Robert Wise directs this film adaptation of Harry Bates' novel. When a harmless alien (Michael Rennie) arrives on Earth in 1951 with a message of peace, he is shot and wounded by nervous soldiers. His three-meter-tall robot Gort (Lock Martin) sees this as an aggressive act and immediately renders all of Earth's weapons useless, while the alien issues an ultimatum to the world: stop fighting or be destroyed.
