(Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense). Broom takes Hellboy under his wing, treats him like a son, and makes sure he gets to develop his supernatural powers. Despite his origins, Hellboy becomes a champion of good in the world and sees it as his mission to fight the dark forces that threaten our world.
