Hasse Ekman - Guldkorn Vol. 2 (DVD)
Hasse Ekman was something of a phenomenon during his long and productive career. Innovative and fearless, he was a cinematic pioneer in many areas. He wrote screenplays, directed, and acted, succeeding in whatever genre he tackled. Despite this, he often ended up in the shadow of Ingmar Bergman, and it is only in recent years that his filmmaking has been elevated to the status it deserves. In 2015, ten of his films were shown in a retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, an honor rarely bestowed upon Swedes.
Studio S is proud to follow up on the success of Hasse Ekman Guldkorn 1 with volume 2. Once again, we have collected six of his best films in a box set filled with cinematic magic. Five of them are being released on DVD for the first time.
