Curiosity develops into a voyeuristic fixation when young author Bill (Jeremy Theobald) follows strangers around London to do research for a novel. After following Cobb (Alex Haw), a well-dressed stranger who is a thief, Bill's obsession takes an ominous turn. He is drawn into Cobb's world of burglary and snooping into the private lives of his victims, and becomes obsessed with an attractive young woman, played by Lucy Russell, an aspiring actress making her film debut. In Cobb, Bill has found a strange companion, part mentor, part confessor, and part evil twin.
