Fist Of Fury Limited Edition Blu-Ray

Sale price389 kr

Bruce Lee's second film for Golden Harvest, Fist of Fury, quickly broke all the box office records set by his previous film, The Big Boss, and launched one of the most iconic characters in Chinese action cinema, Chen Zhen, who has since been played in other films by Jet Li and Donnie Yen.

Shanghai, 1910. Chen (Lee) returns from studying abroad and discovers that his beloved martial arts teacher has died under mysterious circumstances. Chen immediately suspects the members of a rival Japanese dojo, who bully his fellow students and disparage the Chinese in every context. Chen wants revenge and starts a one-man war against the Japanese, which makes him public enemy number one—and he has no intention of giving up without a fight!

The film contains many of Lee's most iconic scenes - not least when he tells his enemies that the Chinese "are not the sick men of Asia!" Fist of Fury is an action spectacle that provides excitement every minute and also proved to be his last collaboration with director Lo Wei, who a few years later would attempt to launch the career of stuntman Jackie Chan (who makes a brief appearance in this film) in the sequel New Fist of Fury.
