Cassandra Peterson stars in this horror comedy directed by James Signorelli. Elvira (Peterson) wants to perform in Las Vegas but needs money to do so. When she finds out that her great-aunt Morgana has died and left her an inheritance, she travels to Morgana's home in Fallwell, Massachusetts. There she discovers that Morgana has left her a dilapidated house, a poodle named Algonquin, and a cookbook. The conservative townspeople soon turn against her, and it isn't long before she is accused of witchcraft. To save herself from being burned at the stake, she must defeat an evil wizard who has turned almost everyone in the town against her. The cast also includes W.
