Doften av rosor (DVD)
ROSES, DEVOTION, AND FRIENDSHIP
Eve Vernet (Catherine Frot) has devoted her entire life to her family's rose plantation. For many years, all the knowledge she inherited from her father has served her well. The new roses she has bred have fetched high prices and given the Vernet name a good reputation in the industry. But now the economic crisis is a reality, and every day brings the family business closer to ruin. In a last desperate attempt, she takes in three unemployed young people to help with the cultivation. The problem is that they have neither green fingers nor a spotless past. But when all seems hopeless, they come up with an idea that has the potential to save their father's legacy.
Against the backdrop of the unique environment that is the French flower industry, we get a heartwarming comedy about devotion, friendship, and new chances in life. And thousands of wonderfully beautiful roses.
