Den stora serieboxen (DVD)

Sale price459 kr

91:an Karlsson, Åsa Nisse, and Lille Fridolf – these beloved characters jumped back and forth between comic strips and feature films during the 1940s and 1950s.

Studio S presents another colorful bunch of old men. Like Elov Persson's philosophizing slacker Kronblom in two films where he collides with everything from Krångelsverige to his mother-in-law, Axel Bäckman's nimble inventor Påhittiga Johansson in the process of modernizing the hard-boiled egg, and Rit-Ola's Biffen and Bananen in three films competing on bicycles, on horseback, and on foot. As if that weren't enough, there are also appearances by distinguished figures such as Gustaf V, Gustaf VI Adolf (both as crown prince and king), and Prince Bertil.

Five of the six films in this most royal box set are being released on DVD for the first time.

The Steak and the Banana (1951) The Steak eats meat and the Banana is a vegetarian – this, combined with certain differences in body size and comprehension, often leads to controversy between them.
