Dawn Of The Mummy Limited Edition Blu-Ray

Four beautiful models travel to a remote village on the edge of the Sahara to shoot a fashion spread for a top magazine. There they encounter a fortune hunter who has broken into the tomb of the murderous pharaoh Safiraman. Their photographer decides to shoot the layout in the midst of the tomb's mysterious splendor. Without knowing it, they activate an ancient and unstoppable curse to "rise and die." The gruesome remains of Safiraman and his army of the living dead exact an indescribable revenge on the intruders and the local population...

The film is highly sought after by cult film collectors - but since the original film is considered lost in some unknown sarcophagus , there was no hope that this film would ever see the light of day as a restored Blu-ray release. However, surviving German and Spanish 35 mm copies were found, and although these have some inherent pressure damage, it was possible to make a composite that made it possible to scan the entire film (plot and gore) in 2K, clean it up, and restore as much as possible. Additional color grading was then performed by Treasured Films.
