By A Mans Face Shall You Know Him Limited Edition Blu-Ray
A community fights against immigrant gangs in the ruins of post-war Tokyo. Only the doctor Amamiya (Noboru Ando, formerly a yakuza) can save them, but he has had enough of fighting in the war. His pacifism is put to the test by the gang's increasingly violent actions, and when his neighbors decide to take matters into their own hands, Amamiya is forced to act. The consequences turn out to be much more far-reaching than he could ever have predicted. With a story spanning three time periods, Tai Kato's ambitiousrevision of the yakuza film was one of the first films to address the taboo subject of Japan's Korean citizens, which greatly influenced later directors such as Kinji Fukasaku and Takashi Miike.
