MORAL DECAY, ABUSE, AND BLOODY REVENGE
"Bully" darkly illuminates the incredible true story of a group of teenagers in Florida who decide that the only way to escape their oppressor is to kill him. The film sparked considerable controversy upon its release for its depiction of the events.
Bully is a brutal and uncompromising true story about the violent apathy and frustrations of a group of teenagers during the summer of 1993 in a small town in Florida. Directed by the controversial Larry Clark (Kids, Ken Park), Bully takes a look into the private lives of Marty (Brad Renfro – The Client, Apt Pupil) and his love-hate relationship with his childhood friend Bobby (Nick Stahl – Sin City), who relentlessly and cruelly bullies him. When Bobby's cruel actions begin to affect Marty's friends, they hatch a plan to finally free themselves from their tormentor.
